Head of Lithuanian Personal Claims Group

We are looking for a team leader to join our cross-Baltic organization and lead Lithuanian personal claims area. Our team handles travel, health, pet, personal accident and traffic accident-related claims. This is a hands-on position in a small team where tasks and responsibilities are ranging from leadership topics to claims handling and claims area development, offering great opportunities for professional growth.

What are you going to do?

• Lead the team members and manage the daily operations of the Lithuanian Personal Claims Group
• Develop, implement and maintain the continuous improvement of claims handling processes, contribute to the development and enhancement of claims-related systems
• Ensure quality of customer service and settle disagreements
• Cooperate closely with other units and stakeholders on Baltic level, including sales, product managers, communication department, etc.
• Manage daily tasks related to personal claims external partners and participate in the procurement and selection processes of external partners involved in claims handling
• Handle personal claims related to foreign traffic claims via communication with If’s foreign partners and be ready to learn and occasionally handle other types of personal claims

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in economics, insurance, law, business administration, or related field
• Experience in team leadership
• Experience in claims handling is beneficial
• Good time management and self-leadership skills, emotional resilience, adaptability
• Good communication skills, focus on collaboration and quality customer service
• Proactivity, attention to detail, analytical thinking, fairness
• Fluent spoken and written Lithuanian and English language skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
