Cloud Engineer – Web Analytics and Marketing

The MarTech tribe at If P&C Insurance is enhancing omni-channel, real-time, and personalized customer communications using Google Analytics 4, Google Cloud, and Azure to enable web analytics and deliver tailored offers. We’re a diverse, international team of passionate developers focused on providing timely, personalized communications to help customers live worry-free and protect what matters most. We collaborate closely with web development teams, analysts, and marketeers.

What do we expect from you?

Must have

• You’re passionate about data engineering and data in Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure, have experience from a wide range of data technologies and storage including structured and unstructured data, streaming and real-time.
• You are experienced in ETL and managing mission critical data loadings, love data modelling and optimizing data efficiency and performance continuously.
• You have experience in any of the following tech stacks: Google Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Run and Cloud Functions for serverless application deployments, server-side tracking with Google Tag manager or Azure Functions, Databricks, Data Factory and Storage.
• Previous experience with application and software development.
• Excellent English language and communication skills (oral and written).

Nice to have

• You have experience working with Web development, Web personalization, Rest API, Google Analytics 4, Data privacy and security.
• You take pride in choosing the most appropriate services given the task and ensuring cost efficient solutions in GCP and Azure.
• A bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or Software engineering or equivalent experience.

 Our promise to you

• Monthly salary: If you are employed in Latvia €3800 – €5000 gross. If you are employed in Lithuania €4300 - €5800 gross. The salary will be determined depending on your qualifications. (*Please note that the specific amount may vary due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries.)
