Chief Accountant

• Financial accounting and external reporting.
• Managing and coordinating the book-closing process in the Lithuanian branch and its related reconciliation reporting according to the given requirements.
• Providing accounting and tax advice to the organization.
• Performing compliant corporate income tax (CIT) and Value added tax (VAT) calculations for the Lithuanian branch and ensuring payments are made and declarations are filed in a timely manner.
• Managing the development and administration of the financial systems in use.
• Advocating the financial accounting needs in development projects of business information systems for the branch.
• Communicating with auditors and ensuring the preparation of the data required for the audit.
• Participating in Baltic/Nordic project work.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field or an MBA.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting and tax, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Experience in audit company as a benefit.
• Strong knowledge of local taxation rules and legislation requirements.
• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong will to understand the business model behind the numbers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English language skills both orally and in writing.
• Advanced technical skills.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Monthly salary 3700-4200 Eur gross which depends on candidate experience, and annual bonus.
