Health injury

Health insurance is a unique and individual business solution, providing employees who are insured by their employer with many opportunities to receive compensation pursuant to conditions of the contract.

In order to find out how your expenses can be compensated, you must first find out about your insurance risks, i.e. what your employer has covered you for.

Critical illness

Covers expenses incurred for the treatment of first-time critical illnesses or those first diagnosed during the period of coverage.

Critical illnesses: myocardial infarction (heart attack), stroke, cancer, kidney dysfunction, and other illnesses listed in the insurance regulations.

Critical illness and stationary treatment

  • Inform us about a diagnosed illness by calling 1620, visiting any of our offices, or by filling out the claims form online. This must be done within a month following the diagnosis.
  • Save the receipts you received for medical services and medicine. You will need to present these, together with your official medical diagnosis, to our office.
  • Upon receipt of all required documents, reimbursement for your medical expenses will be transferred to your bank account within 30 days.
  • If desired, the reimbursement can be transferred directly to the medical facility.

Other medical expenses

Compensates expenses incurred at any medical facility or pharmacy, regardless of the ailment.

It is particularly convenient to pay for services listed in our partners list of medical facilities or pharmacies with a Danske Bank debit card. In this case, your expenses will be reimbursed during the nearest compensation day – the funds will be automatically transferred to your account at Danske Bank. You will not need to fill out any forms or inform our company of expenses incurred.

In all other instances, you must:

  1. Save your receipts for payment of medical treatment and medicine.
  2. Inform our company about these expenses by filling out the online claims form or by coming to any of our offices.
  3. Upon receipt of all the necessary documents, your medical expenses will be reimbursed (transferred to your bank account) during the nearest compensation day.*

In order to be reimbursed for expenses paid by means other than a Danske Bank debit card, your company must have a free payment method selected.**

* Compensation day: the 5th and 20th of each month. You can inquire about the unused remainder of the insurance reimbursement by calling Danske Bank at 1636 (24 hours a day).
** Free payment method: the form of reimbursement your company chooses to receive compensation for medical expenses paid by any means (cash, any debit card, bank transfer, etc.).
