If you cause a collision and are covered by our third party liability insurance:

Within three days of its occurrence, inform us about the collision either online, by calling 1620, or by coming to our nearest office. Have the following with you:

  • your insurance policy;
  • your driver’s license, vehicle registration (Techninis pasas) and safety inspection certificate (Techninės apžiūros talonas);
  • a police report or traffic incident declaration.

If you cause a collision and are covered by Casco indemnity insurance:

Let us know immediately about the collision either online, by calling 1620, or by coming to our nearest office. You will need to present the following documents:

  • your insurance policy;
  • vehicle registration (Techninis pasas) and safety inspection certificate (Techninės apžiūros talonas);
  • your driver‘s license;
  • a traffic incident declaration or the original copy of the police report concerning the incident (if police were called).

Do not begin repairs to your vehicle until our experts contact you and make an appointment to inspect the vehicle.

If you are the victim of a collision caused by an If's client:

Immediately following the collision, or as soon as you discover the party that caused the accident is covered by If, inform us of the event by calling 1620 or by coming to our nearest office.

Our experts will suggest what to do next, depending on the type of collision.

If you visit our office to report the accident, have the following with you:

  • your insurance policy;
  • your driver’s license, vehicle registration (Techninis pasas) and safety inspection certificate (Techninės apžiūros talonas);
  • the original copy of the police report or a traffic incident declaration.

If you are the victim of a collision caused by the client of another insurance company and are covered by our Casco indemnity insurance:

You can either:

  • file a claim with the insurance company that the driver who caused the accident has third party liability coverage with, or
  • inform us.

If you would like us to handle the claim, immediately inform us of the accident either online, by calling 1620, or by coming to the nearest office. You will need to present the following documents:

  • your insurance policy;
  • vehicle registration (Techninis pasas) and safety inspection certificate (Techninės apžiūros talonas);
  • your driver’s license, a traffic incident declaration or the original copy of the police report concerning the accident (if police were called).

Do not begin repairs to your vehicle until our experts contact you and make an appointment to inspect the vehicle.

No matter which of the above situations you may find yourself in, our experts will recommend (either by telephone or after inspecting your vehicle) the most suitable form of damage indemnity for your specific claim. We can either offer to repair your vehicle at one of our partners’ service stations or, if repairing the vehicle is not economically viable, we can issue the appropriate insurance payment to you as quickly as possible.
