If you become ill or experience an injury abroad

Actions abroad:

• Emergency medical assistance will be provided to you by the nearest medical facility.
• Pay the bill for medical services provided according to an invoice for services up to the recommended sum of 350 EUR (if you wish to and have the means you may pay a larger portion) and make sure to get proper documents as proof of payment and medical services rendered. Upon your return to Lithuania, you will be immediately reimbursed for these expenses.
• If you are hospitalized due to illness or injury and will need to spend a few days there, contact us immediately (tel. +370 5 210 8925).
• If the medical facility requests a guarantee of payment concerning direct reimbursement for medical services rendered, ask the facility to send a written request by fax +370 5 210 8909.

After returning to Lithuania:

• Inform the insurance company staff about the incident by calling 1620 or by filling out the claims form online. Be sure to include a telephone number where you can be reached and/or an e-mail address.
• Forward the documents you have as proof of payment to us by post or by bringing them to our nearest insurance office.
