How to prevent thieves from getting into a building
Fortify the exterior doors of your home and install secure locks.
Close all the small windows, i.e. the air vents in your bathroom.
Lock your doors when you‘re at home.
If you plan to be out in the evening, close the curtains in advance.
Place your television and video equipment in a location that is not visible through a window.
When you go on holiday, ask someone to drop in regularly and empty your mailbox.
Lost keys
Keep your keys in a safe place.
Don‘t keep spare keys under a doormat, in a flower vase or the mailbox.
If your keys are missing, change the locks immediately.
