How to prevent thieves from getting into a building

• Fortify the exterior doors of your home and install secure locks. 
• Close all the small windows, i.e. the air vents in your bathroom.
• Lock your doors when you‘re at home.
• If you plan to be out in the evening, close the curtains in advance. 
• Place your television and video equipment in a location that is not visible through a window. 
• When you go on holiday, ask someone to drop in regularly and empty your mailbox.

Lost keys

• Keep your keys in a safe place. 
• Don‘t keep spare keys under a doormat, in a flower vase or the mailbox. 
• If your keys are missing, change the locks immediately.
